On the Mother Road...

Early this morning we were taken by minibus to Eagle Rider Motorcycles in Chicago to collect our bike for the trip.  

I did chuckle when Elaine (a fellow 66-er and Essex girl through and through) quipped as we pulled up and she saw all the bikes lined up..."It's all gettin' a bit real now, innit?"...

This was our second stop of the day.

After this, we stopped at Dwight and Pontiac, visiting the museum there and even getting to go inside Bob Waldmire's old school bus.
