Nearly Ready

On our walk this afternoon we passed a field of rape that is almost ready. The seeds are swelling inside the pods - soon be time for the desiccation spray to kill off the plant before harvesting!

Shot was taken from quite low down to isolate one stem - and show it against the bright blue sky which was just beginning to show after a fairly cloudy morning.

Yesterday's little hiccup with blip only served to remind me to get my journal backups up to date - almost a fortnight since I last ran one. I also tried a different app which allows entries to be parsed in a browser!
