Countryside on our doorstep

We took our chance today to get out for a couple of hours as it was a nice bright and breezy day!

Our daughter and partner had gone off for the day, Emily has gone to spend some time with her dad, so alls quiet on the western front.

We had a leisurely lunch, pottered in the garden, did some laundry, watched the tennis, then we went out for walk as we had late afternoon sunshine! Obviously camera came too.......took several shots, but I liked the simplicity of this one most.

Thanks for all the comments on my GONDELIER yesterday, before I deleted him, and for those of you who've said you'd wished you had seen him, I've finally manage to add an extra, yay :-)
