Waif

Went up to the allotment to commence the attack on the hedges and paths. Hmm, there's a lot of clipping still to go.

We had seen this young feller standing in the street on our way out, looking rather sorry for himself. He was standing on one leg as he appeared to have injured his foot. He didn't bleat at us at all, just stood folornly staring about. On our way back a couple of hours later I thought he'd gone but D spotted him hunkered down in the corner. He looked at us and then turned his head away to rest it on his shoulder - it looks a bit strange but I didn't pause to take another photo as we could hear a parent beginning to vocalise from the roof above and it was only a matter of time before we were attacked. If he doesn't get airborne before nightfall I reckon the neighbourhood fox will find him.
