Bramble

Had a walk in Midgehole DaveCountry today, walking from the car park , along the road to the café and back again through Hardcastle Crags. It was the first time I have managed to get a shoe on in nearly 4 weeks, so we couldn't go off piste so to speak, as it was bad enough doing the made up road. Reggie loved it as ever, and enjoyed his swim by the stepping stones. 

I kept getting the aroma of honeysuckle as we walked down and I just had to capture the wonderful flowers that they are, but the insect on the bramble won today, so the honeysuckle is in extras, as is the wonderful lacy look of some elderflower buds.

A lovely day, but I don't think I'll be walking quite so far tomorrow, though I feel so much better for getting out.... it must be an awful life being a couch potato.
