Crummock Water

Had to go to Cockermouth this morning which was good as it meant I could go to Crummock Water afterwards and Misty and her friend could have a paddle.  When we got to the lake somebody was sat  the water's edge with a walky talky.  I was going to say that's a first but its not as I remember somebody with one sometime last year on one of the nearby fells.  Photo in Extras.

The plants I bought a couple of weeks ago have now been planted into the new flower bed.  Its looking very sparse and will look good when the plants start to mature. 

Heard some sad news today.  I am such a sentimental softy where animals are concerned, always have been and always will be I guess.  My neighbour lost her horse today after a short illness so feeling quite sad. Even though I'd never met the horse I felt I knew her from what I heard about her.
