In fact the Blip shows a symptom of our "summer" weather, my frequent disappearances, and my poor motivation as regards gardening this year.

The two rose bushes at the front of the porch are growing right up against the windows. Normally I'd have been out pruning them a few weeks back to make sure they grow and flower away from the windows.

Another typical "summer" day today. Wet and very cool in the morning, improving in the afternoon and then almost normal by evening.

I've stopped looking at weather forecasts as they change every few hours.

I'd like to go to the horse racing at Hamilton Park tomorrow evening, but that is very weather dependent.
