A busy day, but fun and vibrant.
Rotary over breakfast, and cycled the 1.5k to the meeting as it was a beautiful morning. I won the raffle, and had to cycle back up the hill carrying a bottle of white wine.
Bounce meeting over lunch in Edinburgh. Cycled to & from the station. No raffle, so no tricky multitasking on the bike.
Ran into Tommy Sheridan outside Waverley Station as he was being filmed for a TV programme in the evening. He saw my bag (hence the Blip) and we exchanged smiles, handshakes, thumbs up & a few friendly words. Hope I was edited out.
In a way that cameo encounter encapsulated much of what is so good and positive about the Yes campaign. The two of us won't have much common ground in politics, but share a positive vision for an independent Scotland.
We're both confident about and ambitious for our country.
The fun and vibrancy had turned into fatigue by the evening, and I almost forgot to Blip.
(PS - if you're a unionist, I know you won't get it, so negative comments will not be welcome. Just you stick to being too wee, too poor & too stupid. And Orange walks at the weekend.)
