Duck's sake!

We'll we're home again, but didn't take many pictures today as it rained more or less all the way home! We came home two days before we should have as earlier in the week it seemed likely that there would be a ferry strike on Friday. We decided that we'd better get off the islands just in case, not realising that the ferry from Eriskay to Barra, which we intended to take on Friday, was manned by staff in a different union - I think - so probably wouldn't have been cancelled! We rushed to Lochmaddy (on North Uist) on Wednesday morning and managed to get on, taking us across to Uig on Skye. So we had a couple of unscheduled nights on Skye instead, which was fine. Unfortunately we then heard that the strike had been called off! Grrrrr!

We left Broadford, on Skye, this morning and came straight home. This picture was an emergency Blip, in a way, taken outside a house in Duror!

Lots of back-blipping to do now!
