In Iberia

I wish. I do think there's a look of the Iberian about this shot though. Maybe it's the spiky leafed plant on the left, or the way the light shines warmly on the stone. Anyway it's Ceres in Fife and the Provost is sitting in his niche enjoying the evening sunshine.

I took this photo during a nip outside the Ceres Inn to get a phone signal. It was quiz night and one of the photos on the picture round was bugging me. We got to keep the sheet for this all through the other rounds so that we could work away at it in between times. In it was the .... now I'm not sure of the politically correct way to say this ... shall I just say "little person" from Game of Thrones. Not being a watcher of this series I had no idea of his name but J watches it avidly so I knew he would know. We weren't in the running to win anyway so my cheating wasn't going to make much difference but it was an excuse to phone J and check up on him as much as anything else. The answer was Peter Dinklage. I'm not ashamed of not knowing that but I am very proud of being the only person in the pub who knew which singer Declan MacManus was better known as.
