Sue's Hollyhocks (again)
Bit of a lazy blip today as I have blipped Sue's Hollyhocks before. However, they are magnificent again this year so they are well worthy of another moment in the sun.
And it's another lovely day, just the right temperature, sunny and with a breeze. Unfortunately I spent the morning in school completing our last monitoring review; after that I was free.
Susan worked on more planting for the pond and in the afternoon we blitzed the weeds at the allotment, bringing home potatoes, sugarsnap peas, tenderstem brocolli, beetroot, strawberries, lettuce and gooseberries, much of which we enjoyed sitting outside for our evening meal.
