countdown

last transition afternoon today! woooooop! the holiday countdown can really begin!

saw the musketeers this evening to celebrate tjc finishing teaching for the year and to say goodbye before he jets off to thailand tomorrow. sad to be saying goodbye to the husband, even if he is only going for a few weeks. however, he should really listen when i tell him to be still for a pano shot, because now he's got a face stuck to the side of his head. oh, and that's chickensparrow's seductive face, just fyi.

lovely day today and the last for some of or gap years. decided that they should paint their handprints on the wall to leave a lasting mark of their time here. even though this year has been fairly traumatic at times, it's sad to be saying goodbye.

and a great assembly and lesson this afternoon. slightly freaked out when a year six, in a school we've never been to before, said last night she'd dreamed about us coming in, even to the point of recognising our faces. weird and cool.

oh, and i realise that this blip is all over the place in terms of today's chronology, but i might as mention as well that i had a lovely run with cs this morning. sunny and lovely, even if she did think it was the middle of the night.
