The case of the deadly nightshade
There is New Knitting! I have been so energised by my spinning progress that it caused me to check this year's Schedule against my project bags and to dig out Something That Would Do. As always with such matters, the project that I chose has morphed.
I picked out an asymmetrical scarf that was barely started. I soon found that it would be optimistic in the extreme to believe that I could finish and dress it by the end of the month. So, I ripped it out and chose a simpler pattern from the same book of Curls. The yarn is handspun and was shown last year, taking First. It is probably best this way as the yarn will show off better in a simpler pattern.
I took the photo using my new studio table and lights and am thrilled with the improvement in colour reproduction, though I have much to learn in the art of lighting, judging by my photos so far.
Extra pic is of this pic being set up...
If you want me, I shall be in my caravan, spinning the penultimate bobbin of singles for my big sweater project.
Yes, I'm on a roll.
