Fifeshire Rock, Nelson
We had our biggest frost this morning -3.7 degrees. It was cold and white. I had an appointment in Nelson this morning, so we allowed extra time in case the roads were icy - which they weren't, thank goodness.
On the way into Nelson, we stopped around Rocks Road, a beautiful part of the city. The sea was calm, and the landscape was beautiful with the mountains covered in a fresh dumping of snow. The sun was out, although still cold, but not as cold as it would have been at home. This is Fifeshire Rock, a landmark of Nelson that is very well known.
We arrived back home at 5.30pm after achieving quite a lot during the day. Tea is over, the fire is on, and now for a bit of relaxation. Holidays are good!
