Heron

K and I went to the park for a walk today. I couldn't lure a bird onto my hand, but I did have quite the crowd of chipmunks. We saw this heron fly by a couple of times and finally saw it land on a tree. Of course, as soon as I lifted the camera it took off again. As they do.
My extra photo is actually my favorite shot of the day - K when she sat on the bench and a baby bunny shot out from under her. I'm not sure who was more surprised.
