The Road Less Travelled

With the rain not letting up, we cocooned ourselves inside.

Grandma and L poring over maps and travel books, Im playing with her early birthday present, and the rest of us just idling socially.

Another enjoyable episode of the Time Travellers Guide, and then it was time to battle the driving rain on the Hume Highway.

I was going to post a cheap shot contrasting the drenched gridlock of traffic trying to return to Sydney with the glorious sunset welcoming us to Canberra - but celebrating this precious moment between Grandma and L seemed more in spirit of what I'm hoping to celebrate with this journal.
