Not such a busy bee...........

I just caught something on the radio the other day about the decline of our Bees.
If i remember correctly, apparently the decline is due to Bees being attacked by some sort of parasite. This bee looks to have a few things growing on it, (top lefthand side of his head) whether they're parasites or some sort of abscess's i don't know, but either way i think his days may be numbered.

Just a quick question, do flowers / plants still produce pollen during prolonged
periods of rain...........??
Would the pollen be washed away by the rain......??

If there is a lack of pollen due to the weather, i guess everyone suffers.
