We are not used to this.

It might not be anything special for many people, but when you wake up to plummeting temps and then see this on the mountain, everyone at Tarawera gets really excited. This is the first snowfall this winter, last year we didn't get one...so not a common sight. Don't think it will last very long though.
At least it wasn't raining today so took the two grandies out for a run to get rid of the "cabin fever"  they had after yesterday...that is the extra!
