Stewarding.

This evening Mr Tbay and I and Mr Tbay Jnr too all went off to the North Somerset Show Ground to a stewards meeting ahead of the Countryside Day here on Wednesday.

2500 school children will visit the site to see various demonstrations of farming and food production. I will be stewarding one of numerous school parties around the site. Mr Tbay is on the cultivation section where we will have our power harrow , maize drill and forager there. The forager will be harvesting wholecrop . Mr Tbay will give a come try on what is going on. There will also be a demo of ploughing too in this section. We have butchers, bakers, butter making, crafts, ferrets, farm animals and much more! It is an hugely popular event and was all available places were booked by Xmas. This shot is of the tentage and if you look very closely you will see Mr Tbay Jnr in his Massey tractor! He will be on the grassland area on Wednesday.

Farming - two on compost hauling. Rusty working for another contractor with our tractor and dump trailer. Still no hope of getting the hay that is down. :-(

I spent the day finishing invitations! Now they are all ready to post. Phew!
