Love for this weekend.......

Late last night almost today BUT! I have loved this week and weekend so it gets a heart!
I am amazed sometimes how life whizzes by so fast and days go by and I haven't uploaded to blip. I caught up yesterday (passing by my 600th btw) and I have to go back and do one for June.
This week was so much fun. Our gigs were a blast. Thursday will stick in my mind for ever.....the eastern Prom with people sitting on the hillside listening while we made music. I am not lying, it doesn't suck. I can't believe I am so blessed.
On Friday we sang at a farmer's market at LLBean's. 4 hours. We did 45 minute sets and took breaks every hour. Lots of water. It was a blast.
Yesterday I went on my sister's boat and we went all over the bay. I have to say, it was cold! On the water is just colder and windy. I wore a sweater and jeans. In town Portland was crazy, wall to wall people. Inland it was warm. We had a sleep over at my sister's house and spent time with my niece doing these pictures with sparklers. It was a blast!
I can't wait to do them again.

I was feeling a bit strange this week. With a mixture of emotions and feelings around me regarding the Supreme Court's decisions. I was so happy and I get that we all don't believe the same things but anger and hate are no ways to deal with discenting opinions. The amount of hate speech I have heard this past week is scary. There is a lot of anger in this country. I wish I had an answer. I don't so I will have to keep singing and smiling and try "to live my best life. "

All in all it was a great weekend and I have to get up and go to work in the AM. So sweet dreams to the north and as always...G'Day Downunder!
