Chichen-Itza, Cenotes ik-il & Valladolid

We had a great day today! We were up early for a tour to Chichen-Itza, a Mayan temple and also one of the "new 7 wonders of the world". It was pretty impressive but incredibly warm out so it was nice that afterwards we went to the famous local cenotes, ik-il. That was almost as impressive and is one of the largest cenotes (sink hole lake things that you can swim in) in Mexico. On the way back we stopped off in Valladolid, a beautiful old colonial town, for an hour or so. It was 8pm by the time we got back and having gone straight for some tacos, we're now having some drinks on the rooftop before heading to a nightclub. A long day, but I'm pretty excited for tomorrow...because we're off to Cuba!!!
