Ambleside

Today mrToad met up with an old army pal he hadn't seen for 40yrs he lives in Carnforth where we have been spending a few days in the campervan he and his wife took us on a tour around the countryside and we went on a boat trip on Lake Windermere from Bowness to Ambleside,it was packed with tourists.as was the boat which worried me a bit, thoughts of the Titanic going through my mind.
We had a lovely day out and a lot of reminiscing went on between the "old" soldiers.
