Drift wood
When we went for a walk along the beach near Cromarty on Thursday we picked up a piece of drift wood that I thought would be ideal for a perch for the birds and also provide me with a more picturesque setting to photograph anything that might land on it.
I was in luck as the woodpecker was one of the first to use it yesterday and today the family of goldfinches were happy to sit there while I took their photos. I liked the wings of the baby in this one. They remind me of little wind up toys :)
Not alot happening today. The day started sunny but has now turned really foggy. Be glad when David gets back from work.
