Songbird on a Palmetto

This bird was singing his heart out - I think it is a thrush.  

We drove to the beach this morning - and all of us arrived at the house within 30 minutes.  We are 20 people in the house - it is pandemonium - of the best kind.  

After putting away the groceries and changing clothes we headed to the beach.  I love everything about the beach - the wind, the smell, the sound.  I am so happy to be here for the next week.

As I left the beach, I saw this bird singing his happy song - I felt like joining him.
