THE SETTING SUN

We were up for a couple of hours in the early hours of this morning trying to calm the dogs. They were spooked by the violent thunderstorm we had. Consequently we were up later so just took the dogs on a more controlled walk, as the temperature was quite high.

We did some housework and then went out in the garden. MrMS7 finished clearing the ivy roots and the stems on the fence (we will be having a new fence soon)
We had a surprise visit, L and A arrived with our grandchildren. We had a lovely time playing and reading. I cooked the children their tea, followed by a bath.
We took the dogs out quite late just as the sun was setting.
