Factory

Up at the crack of very early indeed, for the second breeding bird survey walk of the year. A lot of birds, though perhaps fewer species than last year.
As is usual, by the time we had finished our assigned route, and were walking home, we saw and heard loads more birds than our official count :(
This empty factory is at the end of the first half of our transect.

Apart from that, finally got the courgettes planted out at the allotment, did loads more weeding, and had a pleasant natter with Steviefish.

Early night, now, as M is getting up early again to catch a train :(
