And...We're Off...

...like a dirty shirt! My friend Doug and I left our church at 2:30 p.m.

We hit Mackinac City at suppertime, and of course...had to have a pasty (a meat pie). We took it to go, and ate it on a picnic table near this lighthouse.

This is the Mackinac Point Light, and that is the Mackinac Bridge in the background. It is 5 miles long, and joins together Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas.

We pulled into our campground at 9:15, pitched our tents, and went to bed.
