Log

Spent most of the morning looking for campsites around our proposed cycling route in Brittany.

In the afternoon we went to Greenock and continued down the coast. We passed through heavy showers but it was warm and dry on the coast. We went round by Gourock and down to Largs, where we had a coffee and cake (of course). We then returned back home by the inland route going via Kilbirnie etc. Inland it was again raining.

Stopped at Cardwell Bay and walked along the shore. Saw this log over a burn and took the photo but did not dare to walk over as I'm sure I would have fallen in. As we walked along we could hear this bird singing from the top of a rock (a rock pipit I identified from the Bird Guide). Also saw and photographed 2 different jellyfish. one brown and one opaque and purple, a yellow iris and I think a Northern marsh Orchid which was slightly out of focus.
