Thank you all so much for the comments, stars and hearts yesterday. I actually sat on the first page of popular for a while today. Amazing!

A very long and very hot morning spent at Poppy's sports day. She did really well despite the heat and a sore ankle.

D needed a haircut so I dropped him off at his barber's and spent 20 minutes sampling the delights of Haverhill.

D drew the short straw and was in charge of getting Poppy to her drum lesson then taking her to her school fete while I took Alfie to cricket at Shelford and spent a very pleasant evening watching him captain his team to victory.
Got back to the village in time to join D, Pops, The Leeches, Catteralls and Priors for a curry.
Time for bed, we're all shattered!
