Having A Ball

Every 2 years, the school where I work hold a fundraising ball. It's a huge event which raises thousands for the school and local charities.
We went along as a group of 10. it was a great excuse to dress up and I think, despite the swelteringly hot day, everyone had an amazing time.
The food and wine were excellent, and after dinner we all danced to a very talented band (not the Accelerants) even though their set was as cheesy as a Dairylee triangle.
I think there might be a few sore heads in the morning.
