Zonal Geranium

Z is for Zonal Geranium

This lovely geranium is a zonal geranium because it has a band of darker colour in its leaves. I noticed the label when I bought this one. When I was thinking of something for my final alphabet picture, I remembered this geranium.

It took quite a while to compose the picture. In the end I had to use a pair of geraniums, still in their pots, to get the best result. I was then distressed to see that I'd accidentally turned on the date stamp; hence the slight cropping of the image.

Well I made it from A - Z. It was fun having the added task of working my way through the alphabet. I've already planned something for my next few photographs.
