Yellow Irises

Y is for Yellow Iris

These beautiful yellow irises were round the pond at Northicote Farm, Bushbury, Wolverhampton. The pond looks at its best with these colourful flags surrounding it. If you haven't visited the little old farm it is worth popping in for tea and cake. Entry and parking is free, and there is a selection of farm animals to look at too. The herb garden was looking splendid at this time of year.

(Other things I considered today included (Y)university of Wolverhampton and the (Y)union Locks former building. If I'd visited yesterday I could have photographed the large wooden xylophone in the children's area at the farm!)
