Song Thrush.

Song Thrushes have been very few and far between in the garden for quite a lot of years.  Early this year we started to see one around occasionally.  The next noticeable event was when it began song posting and competing with the Blackbird.

Eventually it was foraging round the lawn and gathering beakfuls of food , so were obviously feeding young.  This one has been very obvious round the garden today and finally I spotted it feeding a fledged youngster under the apple tree.

A very dark overcast afternoon but the threatened thunder storms haven't happened..........yet!  The shot is grainy as I was keeping the ISO high because he/she was moving about quickly.
