Back home and a trip into Kendal to restock the food cupboards and fridge. Then the washing machine went on and while hanging the clothes on the line I heard drumming. Curiosity got the better of me so I went walkabout and found this group in the park along with the finishing point for a trail run. The fastest runners on the longest (110k) course had been out for over 14 hours.

Decided to sit and watch for a while. The sky got bluer, the temperature rose, a few runners reached the finish and I had an ice cream.
