Nell and Eva had lots of fun tonight on the patio with a bottle of bubbles. Nell goes wild for them. Didn't manage to capture it very well on camera but have put an extra pic on as I loved Eva's face on it. 

Today it was Toby's sports day. We didnt get to hear about it until last Friday but fortunately I was able to get Fiona to work a half day so I could go. It wasn't like the sports days I remember. All non-competitive. I know its important for children to learn team spirit and the importance of taking part etc etc but I don't think a bit of competition hurt anyone and at some point our beautiful wonderful children are going to have to learn that you can't always win everything in life. Toby made us laugh - in his own little world, doing his own thing and making up his own rules for the events. He's never been one to conform! 

The temperature soared this afternoon. Got quite uncomfortable and the tiddlers got a bit grumpy.
