Don't leave me hangin'

Have you noticed how many people use their mobile as social shield? Walking around looking at it as if there's something really important they need to deal with rather than looking at the people around them, making eye contact, saying 'hello' even. In this day and age where there are so many new and exciting ways to communicate I find that we actually talk less and less. I think some of the other school gate parents must think I'm a bit weird as I smile and acknowledge anyone I pass who catches my eye. Maybe I am. I wouldn't know any more. I certainly don't care much.
My blip is one of my new owl lights. I think they're cute. They guard my door for me.
