Preston Mill
I do believe summer has arrived north of the border today with temperatures in the twenties even if the sun is playing hide and seek behind the clouds at the moment.
It certainly wasn't a great day to be in the car however short a period. We have a funeral on Friday in a Memorial Wood in East Lothian and having made sure we knew how to get there, we felt free to have a coffee, sitting in the sun outside the old Tyninghame Smithy.
On the way home we stopped off at Preston Mill for a photo shoot. We used to have our picnic lunches there when out with our cycling group, so it was strange to have it to ourselves today but still feel the ghostly presence of all our old friends.
