Swan in flight

The road to Croxall Lakes was now open again so I went down to see what was around - and to practise a few bird shots.

It was quite muggy and overcast, but it was still fascinating to sit in the bird hide and see what was going past.  There were three herons in view but all were a long way away, on the edge of the lake at the National Memorial Arboretum (extra photo - with a grebe too)
