From the dark corner.....

When in Ayr, never look up!

The Wallace Tower - probably built on the father of William Wallace's birthplace.

I can't pretend to be a history buff. I've stood to the right of that tower for years, mainly because there's a sheltered cashpoint near by. When I have a week or more leave from work, I stand by the back door of Solihull Council House raising my arm in the air yelling 'FREEDOM! with my loudest whisper.

The film Braveheart with Mel Gibson striding around looking more like the drummer out of Iron Maiden with his pearl drops smile did more for Scottish independence than all the SNP campaigning ever did.

Anyway, I am rambling again..
I want an interesting angle is what I told Mom while pointing my Canon G12 skyward.

A few squishy sounds later and I have gooey stuff in my hair.

'Ayr *eejits feeding seagulls curry sauce, rice and chips again!' said my mom! (*Irish pronununciation of idiot)
