Glacier

Sunshine again today! We left Flåm and almost immediately entered the world's longest road tunnel -25 km. We drove through some lovely alpine scenery to Fjærsland where we visited the Glacier Museum (Norsk Bre Museum) and watched a rather dizzying film of the glaciers in the region.

Next stop, lunch looking up to Bøyabreen Glacier which was really impressive. We were able to get quite close to it. It is immense. There were a few cows at the bottom of the mountain on the shore of the glacial lake which help to put it in perspective - I'll post a photo in the extras (hopefully).

We moved on to Hellesylt on Geirangerfjord where we are staying tonight.

Our journey today included two ferries which were super efficient.

Hoping to do some cruising on the Fjord tomorrow!
