Roaming in the gloaming...

With no Lola by my side. She is at home in the lap of luxury.
We have done this walk at Langsett in the Peak District National Park many times together and she has loved the open space adventure. Today, with Ju and her beautiful cocker spaniel I felt so distracted as if I'd forgot ton something, without Lola. There is no way she would have managed the car journey never mind the hike over the fells so she was far better off at home.
It was a beautiful day catching up and having a proper walk, which I have been missing over the last five weeks. Needless to say I managed to enjoy a lovely meal at "Ye Old Mustard Pot" as we always do, sitting outside in the glorious sunshine.
