The good thing about letting the garden grow excessively is that this year there are a plethora of Bees! Result.
Bees today enjoying the Buddleia Globosa in their droves. Pleased I didn't prune it back as aggressively as I had intended!
FOE and their "Bee Cause" tell us it's really important to create vital bee habitats not just for bees but for all of us who depend on them.
20 bee species in The UK have already become extinct. One quarter of the remaining bees are on the endangered list. All because 97% of wildflower meadows have been lost in the past 60 years.
Better get scattering some seeds!
