Armed Forces Day - Gloucester Docks

What a lovely day today, weather was fantastic. Thank goodness the weather forecasters get it wrong sometimes :-)
I was with the RBL Riders and I'd made some cakes with Poppy icing on the top so people could have a cake for a donation to the RBL Poppy Appeal.
There was a pipe band, a stage with Gloucester Gang Show singers, a military (Welsh Guards) brass band, a pop band playing 60's music. Lots of stands for military charities and military branches, RAF, Army and Navy reserves, The Rifles (No. 1 Rifles are based in Gloucester), and a BBMF hurricane made half a dozen circuits and passes over the docks.
There was also the docks of course with tall ships and cruises up and down the canal in 'Queen Boudicea'. This boat (see one of the extra photos) was used during the evacuation of Dunkerque. At £3.00 a go they must have made a fortune.
