One species each day (from my backyard)
It was pouring with rain and it was windy and cold, so I decided to stay inside. Through the front-door some ferns are visible, and one of them I hadn't photographed yet: Adiantum aethiopicum. At least I think it's this species. I have no doubts that it is an Adiantum, but there are about 200 species. The species aethiopicum occurs in New Zealand, so it'll do for me. I had been waiting for a better opportunity to photograph it, because it is not in a very pretty state at the moment, but this night was a perfect opportunity, albeit for different reasons.
