Casino Royale

I make no apologies for another photo of Castello Scaligero, it's beautiful. Especially with the Siora Veronica in full sail nearby. It's easy to see why so many people choose it as a venue for their wedding.

After yesterday's buses and boats, we stayed local today, pottering around town, going into the castle and then wandering part way to Cassone before giving up in the heat and taking refuge in the bar of a posh hotel for restorative Prosecco whilst looking out at the lake. The reps are keen to point out that the opening chase of Quantum of Solace was filmed in the tunnels running along the western side of the lake - there's an Audi at the bottom of the lake that crashed during filming. I drank my Prosecco whilst staring at a house on the edge of the lake, trying to work out if it's the one from the end of Casino Royale.
