PLAYING DRESS UP

We’re playing cards at the fire station.
When I spotted a firefighter’s suit laying on one of the tables.
The jacket really intrigued me. 

Without a thought, I lifted the heavy fabric, and 
Quickly, slipped my arms into the ample sleeves,

At the end of the sleeves is a, 
Softer fabric, fitting  like fingerless gloves. 
Complete with a thumb loop.

Reflective strips weave around the suit numerous times.
Allowing the firefighter to be seen, 

Even a tiny bit of the strip, hit by a flashlight bean,
Assures that firefighter will be seen.

On the downside, this baby’s gotta be hot in the summer.
