The sun is back. Yay!!!

This morning on my walk we didn’t go very far because it was very mizzly & drizzly.  We walked exactly one mile according to the pedometer that Ann has permanently attached to her bra?!!


So this afternoon Ann said, ‘Molly, we’ll have to go walking for at least a couple of hours if we want to reach our quota of walking 5 miles a day for the #walk1000miles challenge'. 

By this afternoon the sun was shining and the sky was blue. So we walked to Carbis Bay & back in the sunshine.

When we got home Ann said, ‘Molly; Heather & Maddy (of bra-gate fame) are coming for an early evening drink on our very sunny sun terrace.  So you’re not going to get your dinner until Maddy leaves because I can’t trust you not to go into possessive collie eating disorder mode.’

And then Ann made me sit down and listen while she lectured me on how I should behave when Maddy the gorgeous little, old, King Charles spaniel entered our home.

But do you know what happened?....................  Heather arrived clutching a bottle of Prosecco.  Obviously she is now Ann’s new best friend.  But there was no Maddy??!!!  Apparently Maddy was having a snooze and Heather didn’t want to wake her up and make her trek up a steep hill.

....................So I got to have my dinner at the normal time after all.

And Ann & Heather got to drink Prosecco on our very sunny sun terrace.

...................And now Ann doesn’t know whether she should watch ‘soaps’ for the rest of the evening or move out to the front of our house (where the sun is still shining) and sit on her wine drinking chair & drink more wine????
