Bridge at Stobo

Given that the weather for today was only for the hardiest of gardeners and a doctor didn't think my cough was worthy of medication, we decided a couple of hours pamper at the local spa was in order.

Part of the grounds at Stobo is a Japanese Water Garden which was overdue a visit.  It is quite stunning - lots of tumbling water, rhododendrons with huge vibrant flowers, acers with some branches on crutches and many other delights.  And to think it has always been there.
