The Roofs of Dubrovnik

The Old City of Dubrovnik - 'the Pearl of the Adriatic' - is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. But during the Balkan war, much of the city had been damaged. Since there was no local factory to provide for all its lost Roman tiles, the city of Toulouse in France provided the new tiles to the city.
