I Dream of Sushi

It's hard to believe that it's almost 12 months since CCN's daughter-in-law opened her great little Sushi Bar "I Dream of Sushi" in Moonee Ponds.  It had been her dream for many years and believe me it was no mean feat to eventually open the doors on what has proven to be a fantastic idea.  I posted this image on the 16th of July last year - "Opening Day" 

We called in for lunch today and it's no wonder the place is going great guns.  The food was absolutely delicious.  We always knew Acko was an incredible chef and it's fantastic to see her achieving so much success and in such a short time.  It was obvious people love her food and it was terrific to see the happy faces lining up for their fix of Sushi over the lunch hour today.  Just as we were leaving 12 school girls in full uniform trotted in to buy their Sushi and Sashimi.  I hadn't even heard of Sushi when I was going to High School.  How things have changed - thank goodness we have become a multi-cultural society in this country.
